Cutting the cancer out
We look so much better since you know who has fucked off.

So much better as a team. More fluidity and pace in attack, and six goals in two games. Granted not against the toughest of opposition but look how we toiled against the likes of Boro, Sunderland, Hull, Bournemouth and Burnley at home.

Feels like a lot of tension has gone from the other players, and they are really playing for each other.

Excited to see if we can really start cranking up the performances for the rest of the season.

Leaders seem to have emerged;

Pedro is playing like a beast these days, in the midst of everything. AC too.

The very best people get that horrid disease and Payet is not one of them, wrong word for me to use about a selfish shit like Payet.

Yes removing a negative mind or the supposed best player from a team can create a better team spirit and performance from the team as a whole, which is what we are seeing.

How did the timing work?

a) Payet behaves like a big cunt.
b) A few tell him so but he ignores them.
c) He stops playing.
d) Deleted off WhatsApp.

Does that work?

Ah fuck me, it's small wonder football teams are just about unmanageable these days when they communicate with each other like a bunch of 12 year old schoolgirls through snapchat.

Re: Cutting the cancer out
Noble and Collins both supposedly used the WhatsApp group to tell him he wasn't considered part of the team.
This was followed up by the Group Adminstrator Mr P Obiang who told him he was TOAST and deleted his number from the group.
Young people tell me this is the worst thing that can happen to a person ever ever.

Allegedly Payet sent a dick pic to the players WhatsApp group by mistake so they kicked him out of the group chat.

Harsh.

Elsewhere scorchio

Totally agree were playing like a team, we seem more balanced, creating better chances, Im. Well chuffed for the players and the manager.

It's a funny old game a man once said.

What is also telling is the fact that he seems to have been well and truly ostracised by the majority of the players, if not all of them. If any had the slightest smidgeon of sympathy for him then they wouldn't have cut him dead and banned him from the team's Whatsapp, etc.

Re: Cutting the cancer out
Very telling a few games back, can't remember who we were playing, that he'd even stopped passing to Cresswell. Cress would go bombing down the line behind him, but instead of doing their usual patented trick of Payet pinging it downfield to him, he'd just away and play it infield.

Slav looks and sounds more like his old self since this has come to a head, obviously a great relief to him to get it out in the open. And now it seems a good vibe is filtering through not just the squad but the fans and the club as well.

Re: Cutting the cancer out
Indeed.. a lot of the players I think were in awe of him and the mindset was always give it payet give it payet, so responsibility gone. Players do seem galvanised and united. Even more reason to get rid of the fat frog this window.
All that saud, we have been lucky with the timing of playing two very sub standard teams but take nothing away from them... been brilliant!
